Maureen Yaskanin

Maureen Yaskanin is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and library services. Currently serving as a Patron Experience Associate Substitute at Jefferson County Public Library since November 2015, Maureen provides information and reader's advisory assistance, promotes library programs, and instructs computer classes. Prior roles include Associate and Senior Engineer at Golder Associates, where responsibilities encompassed project management and design for landfill and environmental projects, and Project Engineer at Waste Management, Inc., focusing on solid waste landfill design. Maureen’s early career included work as a Hydrologic Technician at Hargis + Associates, Inc. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned in 1986.
