David Kribs

David Kribs has had a diverse range of work experience in financial roles. David most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Prior to that, they worked as the Budget Director/Deputy CFO at Metropolitan State University of Denver. David also held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at the City and County of Denver, where they performed financial, strategic, and risk analysis, as well as managed federal grants. In their earlier career, David worked as the Chief Financial Officer at the State Court Administrator's Office, overseeing various financial operations for the Colorado Judicial Branch. David also served as the Budget and Strategic Management Officer at the same office. Additionally, they held the role of IT Planning and Budget Director at the Colorado Department of Revenue, where they directed planning and budget activities for the Information Technology Division. Before that, they worked as a Senior Budget and Management Analyst at the City and County of Denver.

David Kribs earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Colorado State University from 1985 to 1989. David pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver from 1991 to 1992. In 2012, they attended the Harvard Kennedy School for the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program.
