Julie Kennedy

Julie Kennedy is an experienced librarian currently serving as the Reference and Instruction Librarian at Jefferson State Community College since April 2023. Prior to this role, Julie held the position of Director of Library and Media Services at Lawson State Community College from July 2018 to April 2023, and served as Head Librarian and Library Supervisor at Gadsden State Community College from September 2012 to July 2018. Julie's career in library services began as a Media Specialist at Gadsden State Community College from February 2007 to January 2012. Julie holds a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from The University of Alabama and has completed education at Jacksonville State University.
