Michael de Leon

Michael de Leon is an experienced culinary professional and educator with a diverse background in the culinary arts and food service management. Currently serving as a Chef at Buck Wild Brewing since September 2023, Michael also plays a pivotal role as a Culinary Arts Educator for Adult Education at the Jefferson Union High School District, focusing on California ServeSafe Manager's certification. Previously, Michael worked in multiple educational capacities at San Francisco Unified School District, where efforts were directed toward cultural education through food. Michael's extensive experience includes positions such as Chef Instructor at The Art Institute of California, Executive Chef at Hotel Durant, and multiple chef roles in various restaurants. Michael holds a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and a California CTE Credential in Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation.
