Andrew Muir

Andrew Muir is an accomplished animator with extensive experience in the animation industry, currently serving as Lead Animator at Jellyfish Pictures since November 2019 on the feature film "The Twits" for Netflix Animation. Previous roles include Senior Animator for "Spirit: Untamed" at Dreamworks Animation and Senior Animator at Dwarf Animation Studio for "Monsters at Work" from Disney Pixar, where responsibilities involved preproduction tasks such as rig breaking and animation tests. Muir has also contributed to major projects at Jellyfish Pictures, including a holiday special for "How to Train Your Dragon," and worked as a 3D Animator on the series "Happy!" at Axis Animation. Muir began the career at Jellyfish Pictures in various roles, steadily progressing from Trainee Animator to Lead Animator on multiple productions for Nevision and Universal Kids. Muir holds a BDes(Hons) in Animation from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, completed in 2014.
