Christopher Hellmann

Christopher Hellmann is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in commercial strategy, finance, and sustainability. Currently serving as Commercial Director and Head of Growth at Jem since May 2021, Christopher is instrumental in developing an innovative employer communication tool that connects frontline employees with their employers via WhatsApp. Prior to this, Christopher held various positions, including Assistant Manager at Deloitte Belgium, where skills in compliance and advisory services for multinational corporations were honed. As a co-founder of Oceans The Brand, Christopher showcased a commitment to environmental sustainability by producing swim shorts from recycled plastic. Christopher is also involved with YPO as an Exco Member for the Next Gen - Africa initiative and previously contributed as an Investee Company Experience Advisor at simple.Capital(). Academic credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Business Science from the University of Cape Town, along with a CFA Level 1 certification and a Private Pilot's License.
