Chris O'Brien

Chris O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting with their current position, Chris is the Director of User Experience at Jenzabar since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of UX Team Lead & Principal Designer from November 2019 to January 2022 and UX Team Lead & Senior Designer from November 2015 to November 2019, both at Jenzabar.

Before joining Jenzabar, Chris worked at Jenzabar from 2001 to 2015, holding various roles including UX/UI Designer from 2011 to 2015, Product Manager from 2005 to 2011, and Application Architect from 2001 to 2005.

Chris also has experience outside of Jenzabar. They worked as the Finance Director, CPA at Massanetta Springs Conference Center from November 1999 to September 2001, where they prepared financial statements and designed a website for operational and development purposes. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Staff Accountant, CPA at PBGH from September 1994 to October 1999, where they performed audits and prepared financial statements for various industries. Chris began their career as a Staff Accountant at Arthur Andersen from September 1993 to August 1994, participating in audits of large international corporations.

Chris O'Brien completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech between 1989 and 1993. Prior to that, they attended Franklin High School from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained various certifications, including the ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis and Prompt Engineering Specialization from Vanderbilt University, the NNG Certified in UX Management from Nielsen Norman Group, and several certifications related to generative AI, leadership, employee well-being, remote management, conflict management, and performance management from LinkedIn. Chris also holds a UX Vision & Strategy certification from Nielsen Norman Group and has completed courses in bitcoin and cryptocurrency, localization for developers, and managing virtual teams.
