Megan Taylor

Megan Taylor has worked in a variety of roles since 2019. In 2019, they were a member of the marketing design team at InPrint Magazine, where they designed content for the magazine's social media platforms and Kickstarter campaign. In 2020, they were a Social Media Marketing Intern at Redding Reptiles, where they visited the store weekly to photograph and video reptiles, and drafted social copy and a schedule of posts to optimize and organize sharing of content. In 2021, they worked as a Digital Marketing Assistant at the University of California, Davis, where they created content for the Cal Aggie Alumni Association on Facebook and @calaggiealumni on Instagram and Twitter. Megan also worked as a Graphic Design Marketing Intern at 4BYTE Ghana, where they improved clients' social media presence by conducting research and proposing content ideas. In 2022, they worked as a Marketing Design Assistant at Jessicurl, where they created content for social media, paid ads, and the Shopify webpage through product photography and editing in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva. Megan also managed the email newsletter via Klaviyo (previously MailChimp) by drafting and sending emails for the purpose of notifying customers of timely events and increasing sales. Currently, they are a Digital Communications Coordinator at Cal Poly Humboldt.

Megan Taylor is currently attending the University of California, Davis, where they are pursuing a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Design and Communication. Her field of study includes Visual Communication, UI/UX, Marketing, and PR.
