Ashleigh Purdy

Coordinator - Community Justice at Jesuit Social Services

Ashleigh Purdy is an experienced professional in the fields of community justice and youth services, currently serving as Coordinator for Community Justice at Jesuit Social Services since August 2018, with additional roles including Specialist Convenor and Youth Justice Group Conferencing Convenor. Prior experience includes a position as Justice Program Officer at Australian Red Cross from October 2015 to August 2018, and a brief temporary role as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Prahran Mission. Ashleigh also worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at Red Consulting Group and served as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program from 2012 to 2014. Previous experience includes co-facilitating rehabilitation programmes at the Department of Corrections in New Zealand. Ashleigh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from The University of Auckland and has completed a Certificate in TESOL, along with further training in family violence risk assessment at Swinburne University of Technology.
