Eamonn started their career in 2000 at Telefónica UK, where they held various positions such as Technical Helpdesk Analyst, Team Coach, and IT & Business Change Project Manager. In these roles, they managed budgets, coordinated teams using different methodologies, and delivered complex projects in areas such as web, app, mobile, telephony, network, billing, and retail changes.
In 2014, McGarry joined Dart Group PLC as an IT Project Manager and later became the IT Programme Manager. Eamonn was responsible for a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring their successful delivery and alignment with the company's long-term goals.
Continuing their career at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, McGarry held multiple roles including General Manager of the IT Project Office and Service Management. In these positions, they supported the business and senior managers in delivering IT and business projects on time and within budget. Eamonn managed an IT Project Office and a team of Project Managers, providing line management, performance management, and career development for their team. Additionally, they defined and communicated project roadmaps and established inter-dependencies and risks to project delivery.
In 2022, McGarry joined Jet2 Travel Technologies Pvt Ltd. as the UK Director, overseeing the implementation of travel technology solutions for the company.
