Tanniel Simonian has worked in the IT field since 2001. From 2001 to 2008, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst III and Network Analyst at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). In 2008, they became an IT Consultant at the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), where they maintained the website and served as the Social Media Coordinator. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Programmer/Analyst IV and Senior Network Analyst at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During this time, they managed Cisco and Alcatel networks, designed and managed VMWare ESX Enterprise solutions and EMC SANs, and developed and introduced new technologies for UCLA customers. Finally, from 2011 to the present, they have been the Director of Information Technology at JetHead Development, where they research and implements new technical initiatives and facilitates their implementation into the company's IT infrastructure. Tanniel also plans and executes green technology initiatives to enhance the company's environmental footprint and reduce IT administrative and maintenance costs.
Tanniel Simonian attended the University of California, Riverside from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
