Jacob Lara

Jacob Lara is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Quality Control Specialist at EOG Resources since May 2018, Jacob also holds the position of Operations Supervisor at JAN RESOURCES LLC, overseeing frac water treatment and related operations since October 2017. Prior roles include multiple positions at Jetta Operating Company, Inc., where responsibilities ranged from gauging production tanks to managing fluid and chemical treatments. Jacob has extensive experience in oil transportation from time spent at Plains All American and has previously operated pump trucks at Basic Energy Services. Early career experience includes roles in dispatch at Gammaloy Holdings LP and as a driver for Affiliated Foods Midwest and Saia Inc. Jacob studied pre-medicine at Odessa College.
