Hansini Amarasuriya

Hansini Amarasuriya is a professional with extensive experience in public relations and sustainability communications, currently serving as Senior Executive - PR & Sustainability Communications at Jetwing Hotels since October 2023. Hansini has been a Climate Reality Leader with The Climate Reality Project since July 2020 and has actively contributed as a Global Shaper since January 2020. Previously, Hansini held roles including Executive - Communications and Communications Officer at Dilmah Tea from May 2021 to October 2023, and Public Relations & Communications Officer at Global Shapers Kandy from January 2020 to June 2021. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Climate Change and Environmental Management from the University of Colombo, a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Peradeniya, an Advanced Certificate in Wildlife Conservation and Management from the Open University of Sri Lanka, and a Diploma in Diplomacy & World Affairs from the Bandaranaike Diplomatic Training Institute. Educational background also includes attendance at Holy Family Convent in Bambalapitiya.
