Hsin-Yi Yen has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry, starting as a Senior Engineer in Aeromechanics at GE Aviation in 2000. Over the years, they progressed to roles such as Manager of Evendale Aeromechanics, Manager of Aeromechanics & Military and Industrial Derivative Compressor Module Design, Engineering Manager of Flight Test Operation, and Manager of Technical Operations & Quality Controls at GE Aviation. Hsin-Yi then moved to Virgin Orbit as a Flight Chief Engineer, leading and supporting flight test programs, overseeing modifications, and building a technology roadmap. Currently, Hsin-Yi Yen holds the position of Head of Flight Sciences/Demonstrator Chief Engineer at JetZero. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in flight sciences, engineering management, quality controls, and aviation operations.
Hsin-Yi Yen completed a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at The Ohio State University from 1994 to 1996, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field from 1996 to 2000 at the same institution.
