Marissa Busch

Marissa Busch is a seasoned professional in the field of immigration law and humanitarian aid. Currently serving as a Humanitarian Relief Paralegal at JFS Seattle since August 2021, Marissa provides essential support to asylum seekers, unaccompanied youth, and survivors of trafficking by assisting the immigration attorney in managing the caseload and developing the legal program. Prior roles include Asylum Support Case Manager at Northwest Immigrant Rights Project and Asylum Intake & Legal Coordinator at Immigrant and Refugee Law Center, as well as an internship focused on client interactions and case research. Marissa holds a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Political Science from Xavier University and has also studied at Université Grenoble Alpes. Marissa's commitment to social justice is further exemplified through various leadership and fellowship positions in past organizations.
