Robbie Terman

Robbie Terman has a strong background in archival work. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as an Archivist at the Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs, where they arranged and described personal papers and organizational records, published finding aids online, and participated in a digitization project.

From 2009 to 2013, Robbie Terman worked as an Archivist at the Cranbrook Educational Community, specializing in interpreting the historic Cranbrook House and acting as a liaison to its governing board. They also collaborated with curators from Cranbrook Art Museum for research and curated exhibits within Cranbrook House.

Since 2013, Robbie Terman has been the Director of the Leonard N. Simons Jewish Community Archives at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. In this role, they manage the department's budget, raise funds through grant writing and fundraising, and oversee a large collection of documents, photographs, and oral history interviews.

Robbie Terman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of General Studies from Oakland University in 2002. Following that, Robbie pursued a Certification in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Oakland University in 2004. Later on, from 2006 to 2008, Robbie attended Wayne State University and completed a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) with a specialization in Archives/Archival Administration.
