Kell Wilkinson

Project Manager - AIDS Free Pittsburgh at Jewish Healthcare Foundation

Kell Wilkinson has a diverse work experience in various organizations. From 2023, they worked as a Project Manager for the Jewish Healthcare Foundation's AIDS Free Pittsburgh initiative. They were responsible for raising awareness and building collaboration among stakeholders to end the HIV epidemic in Allegheny County.

Starting from 2009, Kell was a Board Member for Prevention Point Pittsburgh, where they also served as the Volunteer Coordinator from 2009 to 2012. They facilitated volunteer orientations, scheduled volunteers, provided case management duties, and delivered risk reduction services to clients.

In 2021, Kell worked as the Health Equity Lead for the Allegheny County Health Department until 2023.

From 2019 to 2020, they were a Program Manager for Active Minds, Inc., where they led a grant-funded initiative to support mental health awareness and education for students. They managed collaborative efforts with local partner organizations and piloted a chapter strength and sustainability initiative.

In 2017, Kell served as the Policy Director for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and from 2015 to 2017, they held the same position at Equality Pennsylvania.

From 2012 to 2013, Kell was a Scholar in Local Government and a Policy Coordinator in the Executive Office for the Allegheny County Department of Human Services from 2012 to 2015.

They also had roles as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh Office of Child Development Division of Applied Research and Evaluation from 2011 to 2012, and as a Graduate Student Intern at the Allegheny County Department of Human Services in 2011.

Kell Wilkinson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Anthropology, Sociology, Italian Studies, Women's Studies, and Africana Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. This educational journey began in 2003 and concluded in 2007. Subsequently, Kell pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Public and Non-Profit Management/ Community, Organization, and Social Action, as well as a Master's in Social Work (MSW) from the same institution. This degree program spanned from 2009 to 2012.
