Cesare Efrati has extensive experience in the field of gastroenterology, currently serving as the Head of the Simple Operational Unit for Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at Ospedale Israelitico since October 2006, where responsibilities include the diagnosis, therapy, and management of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. In addition, Cesare Efrati holds multiple roles including Head of the Gastroenterology Department at Sport e Salute and CONI since January 2020 and January 2019 respectively, as well as a gastroenterologist at Salvator Mundi International Hospital since January 2010. Prior experience includes working as a research collaborator at Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù in 1999. Educational credentials include an observership in Ecoendoscopy and ERCP from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a specialization in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy from Sapienza Università di Roma. Cesare Efrati completed a Master's degree in Medicine from the same institution.
