Alexandra Appel

Alexandra Appel currently serves as the Managing Partner at A&A Fresh Italian, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Appel was the Kitchen and Purchasing Manager at Wythe Hotel from February 2018 to November 2022, and previously held various positions at Ovenly, including Kitchen Manager and Assistant Operations Manager, between February 2016 and February 2018. Appel's culinary experience extends to Union Square Hospitality Group as a Pastry member and to Balthazar Bakery as a Pastry Cook. At Carlos Bakery, Appel was the Assistant Manager, overseeing staff and inventory. Earlier in the career, Appel was the Assistant Pastry Chef at Boulevard Five 72, focusing on dessert creation and fundraising events. Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing: PR & Advertising and Entrepreneurial Studies from Emerson College from 2007 to 2011.
