Michael A. Cornehls

Michael A. Cornehls, FACHE, is an accomplished healthcare executive currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Reston Hospital Center in Virginia since August 2019. With extensive experience in financial leadership roles within HCA Healthcare, Michael has held positions including Assistant Chief Financial Officer at HCA Florida JFK Hospital and HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. Additionally, Michael has contributed to the operational success of the HCA East Florida Division in various director-level positions. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Results Manager at Carpedia International and Director of Program Management at One Call Care Management. Michael holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Health Education & Behavior from the University of Florida and an MBA focusing on Complex Health Systems from Nova Southeastern University.
