Luis Sepúlveda has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Luis started their career at Criterion Systems Inc. in 2006, where they worked as a Senior Security Engineer, supporting and troubleshooting various security systems. In 2008, they joined Lockheed Martin as a Network Engineering Staff, developing source code and GUI for conference room devices and testing encryption solutions. Luis then worked at CACI International Inc. as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer, conducting research on emerging technologies and integrating hardware and software products for the customer's security environment.
In 2011, Sepúlveda joined General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer 2, serving as the interface between the customer and developers and identifying customer needs for new tools and process improvements. Luis later joined Ntrepid Corporation in 2012 as a Technical Account Manager, leading integrations of managed solutions for customers.
Sepúlveda's career then transitioned to Johnson Controls, where they held two roles. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Security Solutions Integration Leader, providing security and technology consultation and overseeing project development for large and complex security projects. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Security Operations Manager - Global Product Security, ensuring adherence to security policies and procedures in product development and interpreting industry security standards for product management.
In 2018, Sepúlveda joined Sierra Nevada Corporation as a Principal Systems Security Engineer, responsible for security technical lead and supporting business development in defining systems architectures. Luis then worked at M.C. Dean, Inc. in 2020 as a Security Systems Engineering Lead, providing technical guidance and serving as the lead design engineer for physical security system updates.
Most recently, Sepúlveda worked at L3Harris Technologies in 2021 as a Systems Security Engineering Lead, serving as a security lead for custom software solutions for space-based systems and ensuring security requirements compliance.
Currently, in 2022, Sepúlveda is working at JFL CONSULTING, LLC as an Electrical/ICS Engineering professional, utilizing their expertise in electrical and industrial control systems engineering.
Luis Sepúlveda attended the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus from 1995 to 2001. Luis pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronics. In 2003, they obtained a certification in CISSP from the institution (ISC)².
