Meir Tsvi has extensive experience in the software engineering and technology field. Meir is currently the Director of Engineering at JFrog, a position they assumed in July 2021. Prior to this, from November 2017 to July 2021, they served as the Director of Engineering at VDOO.
Before joining VDOO, Meir worked at Appdome as the Director of Technology from September 2014 to November 2017. During their time at Appdome, they led various cyber-security research activities, including iOS and Android reversing, hooking, obfuscation, and anti-tampering techniques. Meir also played a key role in the discovery of an iOS zero-day exploit breaking sandbox barriers.
From 2008 to 2014, Meir held multiple roles at Microsoft. Meir started as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to kernel development for the next-gen operating system Midori. Later, they became a Team Lead, where they recruited and led teams of software developers, mentored them, and oversaw their reviews, promotions, and compensation.
Meir's work experience also includes positions as an R&D Director at Panaya from February 2006 to May 2008, where they hired and managed development and testing teams, and as a Group Manager at BluePhoenix Solutions from February 2005 to January 2006, where they led a group of team leads and developers in the development of an artificial intelligence tool.
Before that, they worked as a Senior Developer at Check Point Software Technologies from August 2003 to January 2005, focusing on VPN and Personal Firewall product development for Windows and Mac platforms. Prior to that, they were a Senior Developer at Red Bend Software from March 2002 to August 2003, where they worked on OTA update technologies.
Meir's career started at Alexandria, which is now part of Blue Phoenix, where they served as a Team Lead from 1999 to 2002, focusing on legacy systems modernization tools. Meir established and led a team of developers.
Meir Tsvi completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, between 1997 and 2000.
