Shaya Potter

Shaya Potter is a Senior Software Engineer at JFrog since November 2024, previously holding the same title at Redis from August 2019 to November 2024. Shaya's career began as a Research Scientist at appOrbit from July 2016 to May 2019, where focus centered on migrating legacy infrastructure to container and Kubernetes environments. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at CoreOS, a Senior Software Developer at Bloomberg LP, and a Senior Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, where substantial contributions to large-scale data processing and cloud analytics took place. Earlier in the career, Shaya worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IBM, specializing in cloud computing, and completed a PhD in Computer Science at Columbia University, with foundational experience gained as an intern at the Naval Research Laboratory.
