Ian Wynn

Ian Wynn has a diverse work experience in various engineering and project management roles. Ian started their career as an Industrial Electrician at Quality Electrical Contractors, where they worked on industrial construction projects in the natural gas industry. Ian then joined Gas Transmission Systems as an intern, where they gained experience in pipeline hydro-test design and technical documentation.

Next, Ian worked as an intern at the Idaho State University Nuclear Research Facility, where they designed and implemented an automated control and emergency shut-down system for the facility. Ian also worked as an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at Premier Technology Inc., where they were responsible for designing power, control, and instrumentation systems for various industries.

Ian then worked as an Independent Contractor at NGF Construction, where they served as an Electrical and I&E Project Manager. In this role, they were involved in the construction of crude oil, natural gas, NGL, and water infrastructure systems.

After that, Ian joined Summit Engineering Services as a Senior I&E Field Engineer and later became a Project Manager. At Summit, they were sub-contracted to a mid-stream energy company and assisted in the construction of an oil and gas transportation system.

Ian's most recent position is as a Project Manager at JHKelly, LLC. Overall, they have gained experience in project management, conceptual design, construction, cost tracking, procurement, and safety in the energy industry.

Ian Wynn has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Idaho State University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Before that, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the same university, which they completed from 2004 to 2009. In between these degrees, from 2009 to 2012, Ian pursued a Workforce Training program in Electrical Apprenticeship at Idaho State University. Aside from their formal education, Ian has obtained additional certifications such as H2S Awareness Training from DXP Safety in March 2018. Ian also holds certifications in Contractor Certified Person Certification (Job Site Safety Inspection) from Wyoming State Mine Inspector and MSHA: 24 Hour Surface Miner Training from MSHA, but the specific obtained month and year for these certifications are not provided.
