Angela Pereira

Angela Pereira has extensive experience in the field of communications, specifically in global health and development organizations. Angela is currently working as the Communications Team Lead for Jhpiego on USAID's MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership project. In their previous role as a Consultant, they provided communications expertise to various organizations, focusing on advocacy, program implementation, and research. Additionally, Angela has worked as a Senior Communications Specialist at RTI International, Communications Manager at RESULTS and RESULTS Educational Fund, Rights Media Educational Officer at Journalists for Human Rights, Media and Communications Advisor at the Malawi Network of AIDS Service Organizations, and as a Communications Assistant and Editorial Intern at various publications. Angela'sexperience spans over a decade, showcasing their skills in strategic communications, content creation, and media relations.

Angela Pereira obtained a Master's degree in International Communications from the University of Leeds in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they attended Carleton University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Journalism. Angela'sstudies at Carleton University included Print and Broadcast Journalism, International Relations, and Development Studies.
