Koby Avital

Koby Avital has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the software engineering industry. Koby is currently the Vice President of Research and Development at JiBe ERP, where they oversee the development of ERP solutions for maritime shipment enterprises. In this role, they manage multiple engineering groups and implements changes to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Prior to their current position, Avital worked at Siemens PLM Software as a Senior Engineering Group Manager. Koby was responsible for managing an engineering group focused on manufacturing and engineering solutions. Koby initiated and implemented methodologies and tools to enhance development processes and quality.

Avital also served as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Cyvere Technologies, where they contributed to the development of cloud and self-governing B2B SaaS products. Koby led the entire development process from requirements analysis to production operations.

Before joining Cyvere Technologies, Avital was the VP of Engineering at IBA Systems. In this role, they established and grew the engineering organization, designed and developed a distributed SaaS telecom OSS/BSS system, and conducted market research to meet customer needs.

Koby began their career as a Software Engineering Consultant at Tact Computers and Systems Ltd., where they provided expertise in system replacement and high-level design creation.

Avital's career started in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, where they held various positions including Software Engineer, Software Engineering Team Manager, and Senior Engineering Group Manager. Koby managed multiple projects and teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Koby Avital has a background in computer software engineering. In 1997, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Singalovsky College. In 1998, they attended the Military Academy of Computer and Cyber Defense Professions (Mamram) for a brief period, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Koby Avital also holds a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner, which they obtained from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2019.
