Jonatan Wirix-Speetjens

Jonatan Wirix-Speetjens currently serves as a Projectmedewerker at the non-profit organization JINC, contributing to combating inequality in the labor market through educational projects. In addition, Jonatan works as a freelancer at Uitgeverij Prometheus, focusing on comparing translations and compiling registers for books. Previously, Jonatan held various roles at Universiteit Leiden Faculteit Geesteswetenschappen, including Policy Support Officer, where significant involvement in professionalization initiatives for the faculty's largest department was demonstrated, as well as serving as Assessor in the Faculty Board and participating in the Educational Board. Jonatan was also the Chair of the student association Le Tre Corone and briefly worked as a translator for the TV program ‘Langs Romeinse Wegen.’ Jonatan holds a Master’s degree in Literary Studies with a focus on Italian Language and Culture from Leiden University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the same institution.
