Lead Architect at Jiobit

Pete Jansons has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Pete currently works at Jiobit as the Lead Architect since 2016. Alongside their role at Jiobit, Pete is also the CEO and Founder of Jansons LLC, where they started in 2016. Before that, they worked at Motorola Mobility as a Senior Staff System Design Engineer and later as a Senior Staff Electrical Design Engineer from 2011 to 2016. Pete's work at Motorola involved guiding product teams through the design process and managing flex circuit design for smartphone products. Prior to Motorola, Pete worked at Motorola from 2005 to 2010, where they played a significant role in designing the first Android-based smartphone and tablet. Pete also worked as a Staff System Design Engineer and Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer during their time at Motorola. Before Motorola, Pete worked at Supplynet Communications as a Design Engineer, where they designed a battery-powered, microcontroller-based cellular telemetry device. Pete also founded Jansons CC and worked as the CEO from 2002 to 2004. Pete began their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Fermilab and later became the Engineering Intern Manager, where they were responsible for quality control in the F-wedge silicon detectors project.

Pete Jansons completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 1996 to 2002.
