Karan Patel

Karan Patel is a seasoned Senior Service Designer currently at Jiva since July 2021. Previously, Karan served as a Service Design Consultant at IdeaCulture, where user journeys for a family business in sanitary-ware were mapped, and service design outlines for project pitches were created. As Co-Founder and Head of Design at Meshined Design Consultancy LLP from December 2014 to December 2019, Karan focused on innovative strategies related to product design and user behavior. Karan also held the position of Head of Innovation at Kamal Kisan, leading the design and development of agricultural implements tailored for Indian farmers. Early career experience includes an apprenticeship at Leap Consulting, where foundational skills in research and prototyping were gained. Karan's educational background includes a Master's in Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University, along with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology and design studies at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
