Vladimir Makatsaria is the Chief Executive Officer at LivaNova since March 2024. Prior to that, Vladimir held various high-level positions at Johnson & Johnson, including Company Group Chairman - Ethicon Global Business, Chairman in China, Company Group Chairman in Medical Devices Asia Pacific, Global Integration Leader, President in Europe Middle East Africa, Area Director in Eastern Europe, Vice President Strategic Affairs in Europe Middle East Africa, and Managing Director in Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States. Vladimir holds a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration and MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from the University of Minnesota.
