Chris Johnson has over 25 years of experience in the retail industry. Chris began their career in 1996 as a Buyer, Buyer in Training, Senior Assistant Buyer, and Assistant Buyer at Foley’s Department Store (May Company - Acquired by Macy’s in 2005). In 2000, they joined JCPenney Company, Inc. and held various roles such as Corporate Merchandise Planning Director, Divisional Merchandise Planning Director, Men's Apparel, Planning & Allocation Director, Young Men's & Athletic Apparel, Planning Manager, Young Men's & Athletic, Team Apparel, and Business Strategy Planner, Athletic & Team Apparel. In 2010, they were promoted to Vice President, Planning & Allocation: Men's Apparel, Fine & Fashion Jewelry, Accessories & Watches, and Vice President, Corporate Planning & Allocation. In 2015, they were promoted to Vice President, Corporate Price Optimization. In 2017, they joined JOANN Stores as Vice President Planning & Inventory Management. In 2019, they joined Galls, LLC as Vice President Inventory Management & Purchasing. Chris is currently Vice President of Procurement at JM Bullion.
Chris Johnson attended the Texas McCombs School of Business from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance. Chris also attended Southern Methodist University, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence.
