Vimal Sathiyaseelan

Vimal Sathiyaseelan has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Vimal worked at JMA Wireless from 2015 onwards, starting out as a Technical Specialist responsible for technical sales and support of the company's wireless product line in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, they conducted technical presentations, provided support and training, and handled commissioning.

Later on, Vimal took on the position of Director of Sales and Support for ANZ at JMA Wireless. In this role, they developed and executed a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Vimal also built and maintained strong relationships with channel partners and customers, effectively communicating the company's value proposition through various means, such as workshops, trainings, presentations, and seminars.

Prior to JMA Wireless, Vimal worked at Kordia as a Senior RF Engineer/Team Lead from 2011 to 2015. Vimal then joined U Mobile as an IBC RF Engineer from 2008 to 2011.

Vimal Sathiyaseelan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Honours degree with a major in Electronics and a focus on Computer at Multimedia University from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Building and Managing a High-Performing Sales Team, Developing Executive Presence, and Transformational Leadership, all obtained from LinkedIn in December 2021. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified IP Engineer (CIPE) certification from Orbitage Sdn Bhd in June 2008.
