Jason Marineau

Jason Marineau has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and research fields. Their most recent role is as the Senior Director at Jnana Therapeutics, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Syros Pharmaceuticals where they held various positions including Senior Director, Director, Associate Director, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist, with their tenure spanning from January 2013 to February 2023. Before joining Syros Pharmaceuticals, they worked at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a Scientist and Research Fellow from July 2010 to December 2012. Jason also has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston College where they worked on developing applications of the chemistry of tricarbonylcyclobutadiene iron complexes during their Ph.D. studies from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, they completed summer associate roles in Discovery Chemistry at Pfizer in 2004 and 2003.

Jason Marineau completed their education in two stages. Jason first attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction in Chemistry. Their concentration during this period was Medicinal Chemistry. Following this, Jason pursued further studies at Boston College from 2004 to 2010, earning a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry.
