Alfredo MacHado

Alfredo Machado has extensive work experience in engineering and manufacturing roles. Alfredo began their career as a Process Engineering Intern at Google in 2014. Alfredo then worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at FOX Factory from 2015 to 2016. Afterwards, they joined Google's Project Loon as a Mechanical Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Alfredo then joined Plethora as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager from 2017 to 2019. Alfredo returned to Google and held various positions, including Product Design Engineering Program Manager from 2019 to 2021 and Mechanical Engineer - Project Loon from 2019 to 2021. Alfredo then worked as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Rivian from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical/Electromechanical) at Joby Aviation starting in 2022.

Alfredo Machado has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance, Operations and Supply Chain Management from Marquette University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del Turabo. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Certified Solidworks Associate certification from Solidworks in June 2013. More recently, in May 2020, Alfredo completed certifications in Solidworks Flow Simulation, Solidworks Sheet Metal, and Solidworks Simulation Professional, all from Solidworks.
