Amanda Rickert has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amanda is currently working at Joby Aviation in the Partnerships & Strategy role, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Cisco from July 2018 to September 2021, where they held the role of Circular Economy Program Management Office. In 2018, Amanda also had brief stints as a Business Analyst at Common Energy and as a Consultant at the NYC Mayor's Office of Recovery & Resiliency. In 2017, they worked as a Consultant and Project Lead at Blue Forest Conservation, as well as a Consultant at the Columbia University Office of Environmental Stewardship. Amanda's earlier experiences include being a Biology Department Independent Undergraduate Researcher at Boston College in 2017, a Terrestrial Ecosystem Science and Technology Summer Research Collaborator at Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2016, and a Managing for Social Impact and the Public Good- Undergraduate Research Assistant at Boston College in 2015.
Amanda Rickert holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. During their undergraduate studies, Amanda double majored in Operations Management and Biology. Amanda received their high school education from the Charter School of Wilmington. Additionally, Amanda has obtained certifications as a LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council and as a Six Sigma Green Belt from Boston College.
