Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering from Shiraz University, which they attended from 1999 to 2001. Amir also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, where they studied from 1989 to 1995.
