Dennis Saxby

Dennis Saxby has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. In 1992, they worked as an Engineering Manager at MiniStor Peripherals. From 1994 to 1997, they founded and served as the Vice President of Engineering at Scotts Valley Instruments, where they developed test equipment for the magnetic recording industry. In 1997, they became the Vice President of Engineering at Swan Magnetics, after Scotts Valley Instruments was acquired by the company. Starting in 1998, they worked as an Independent Consulting Engineer and Owner at 2Rite Corporation, providing electronics engineering consulting and contract product development services. Dennis engaged in various projects involving analog circuits and systems. Notably, they worked as a Senior Engineer - Sensors and Electromagnetics at Sentient Energy from 2009 to 2023, contributing to the design and development of power harvesting solutions. Currently, since 2023, they hold the position of Staff Electrical Engineer at Joby Aviation.

Dennis Saxby pursued their undergraduate education from 1973 to 1977 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dennis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering during this time.
