Eric Allison

Eric Allison is the Head of Product at Joby Aviation. Eric was previously the Head of Elevate at Uber from March 2018 to January 2021. Prior to that, they were an Adjunct Professor at Santa Clara University from January 2009 to May 2010, where they taught several composite materials and structures classes. Eric was also the CEO of Zee.Aero from January 2010 to March 2018. Before that, they were an Aerospace Scientist at Desktop Aeronautics, Inc. from February 2007 to October 2010.

Eric Allison earned a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University. Eric also has a M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

They are on a team with Eliot Garcia Weisberg - Head of Creative, Didier Papadopoulos - Head of Aircraft OEM, and Oliver Walker-Jones - Head of Marketing, Communications & Brand. Their manager is Joeben Bevirt, Founder & CEO.
