Gerard Ghaibeh

Gerard Ghaibeh is an accomplished data scientist and engineer with extensive experience in data analysis, machine learning, and hardware engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Joby Aviation since May 2018, Gerard specializes in big data utilizing Spark SQL and DataBricks on AWS and DeltaLake. Previously, Gerard worked as a Python Developer at Cisco, focusing on routing, automation, and machine learning AI, and held multiple roles at Facebook including Python Software Developer and Datacenter Networking Infrastructure Architect. Gerard's earlier experience includes leadership positions at Extreme Networks, Optranet, Tut Systems, and Ericsson, where skills in hardware engineering, modem design, and telecommunications technology were honed.
