Patrice Gagnon

Patrice Gagnon has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. They started as a Project Management Engineer for CSeries CS100 at Voith Aerospace in Montreal, QC in August 2013. They then joined BOMBARDIER as a Test Lead for the Integrated System Test and Certification rig (ISTCR) in September 2014. In this role, they were responsible for the development, testing, and operation of the ISTCR and High Lift System Test Rig (HLSTR) instrumentation and systems. They also achieved SOF for the Global 7000 and led the Engineering Test Team.

Since August 2016, Patrice Gagnon has been working at AeroTEC as the Mechanical Systems Team Lead for Flight Test. They coordinate a team of 15 Test Engineers to ensure proper support in a highly dynamic flight test environment for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ). Their main responsibilities include coordinating team activities, scheduling, and supporting all flight test vehicles.

They will be joining Joby Aviation as a Flight Test Aircraft Engineer starting in June 2023.

Patrice Gagnon studied Aerospace construction at École Nationale d'Aérotechnique from 2000 to 2003, earning a Technician degree. Following that, from 2006 to 2010, Patrice pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at École de technologie supérieure.
