Rui Sun

Rui Sun has a diverse work experience starting in 2013. They began as an intern at Thb Group, where they gained experience in UG NX design and wire harness design. They then moved on to Tooling and Equipment International, where they held two roles. As a designer, they showcased solid skills in UG NX and specialized in foundry tooling design, production tooling, and prototype core package development. Later on, they took on the position of Lead System Engineer/Process Engineer, where they established standard manufacturing processes, addressed technical issues, and handled tasks such as on-machine probing, CAM customization, and inspection. Most recently, Rui Sun joined Joby Aviation as a Manufacturing Engineer in May 2022.

Rui Sun's education history is as follows:

From 2009 to 2011, Rui Sun attended Xi'an University of Technology and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

From 2011 to 2013, Rui Sun attended Lawrence Technological University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2015, Rui Sun enrolled at Lawrence Technological University again for further education and completed a Master's Degree in Mechatronics System Engineering in 2016.

From 2020 to 2027, Rui Sun pursued a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Michigan.
