Samantha Welch

Samantha Welch has a diverse work experience with a focus on engineering roles. Samantha began their career as an engineering co-op at Gulfstream Aerospace in May 2011 and worked until July 2012. Samantha then joined Tesla in May 2012 as a Technical Illustrator/Interactive Designer and transitioned to the role of Engineer - Vehicle Design Integration in April 2014, leaving in October 2015. From October 2015 to November 2017, Samantha worked at Apple as an MCAD Engineer. Samantha then joined Lockheed Martin in November 2017 as an Additive Manufacturing Design Engineer and worked there until July 2023. Currently, they are employed at Joby Aviation as an Additive Senior Design Engineer, starting in August 2023.

Samantha Welch completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University from 2008 to 2012. Samantha then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Additive Manufacturing and Design from Penn State World Campus between 2018 and 2021.
