Ron Walker

Ron Walker is a seasoned racing professional with extensive experience as a steward and horse industry participant. Currently serving as a Jockey Club Steward at Finger Lakes Race Track since April 2023, Walker has held various steward roles including Oklahoma State Steward for the Oklahoma Racing Commission and State Steward for the New Mexico Racing Commission at Sunland Park and ZIA PARK. Walker's background also includes positions as Association Steward at Penn National Gaming and Calder Casino and Race Course, along with decades of involvement in the racing industry as a horse owner, assistant trainer, breeder, and agent in multiple states. Educational credentials include a Steward Certification from the University of Arizona and an Associate's Degree in Radio and Television from UWM.
