Charles Jesudasan is a pharma sales & marketing professional having 25 years of experience across multiple therapies & specialties. He started his career at Sanofi in1997 as Medical Representative, got promoted on fast track as the youngest Area Manager at the age of 25, and the youngest Regional Manager in June 2005.
As a Regional Manager at Sanofi, Charles grew his regional CAGR at 16% compared to the 12% national CAGR, thanks to his consistent team building, customer engagement and brand building discipline.
In 2012, Charles started his career in marketing as Sr. Product Manager at Sanofi Mumbai and soon got promoted as Marketing Manager & Marketing Head, handling brands worth 170 crores+ across LCM & strategic projects.
In June '18, he joined Abbott India as the Business Unit head for Neurolife (475+ team size) and scripted the BU turnaround winning the Best BU award for 2019 & most profitable BU across Abbott. He moved to Abbott healthcare to turn around the CNS BU in 2020 & was again successful in driving leveraged P&L with strong double digit growth in 2021.
Charles has a B.Pharm, PGCBM -XLRI and MMM from Pondicherry University. He has contributed to the pharma industry by developing many first and second line managers in sales, marketing and training, while maintaining high ethical standards and values.
He was awarded the Best Mentor in 2017, Brand Excellence Awards (3/6 yrs: 2012-2018), Twice nominated the OPPI awards, MD's trophy for Best RBM (2007-2009), OCS Trophy (1997-1999), Best BU in Abbott.
