Shelly Matthews

Shelly Matthews is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in various aspects of financial management. Currently serving as Accounting Manager at John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. since April 2007, Shelly specializes in standard costing, procurement accounting, accounts payable, inventory control, budgeting, variance analysis, and cycle counting. Prior to this role, Shelly worked at Georgia-Pacific LLC from May 1994 to August 2001 as an Accountant, where responsibilities included financial reporting, GAAP financial statements, profit reporting, and both internal and external SEC reporting. Shelly holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting from Oglethorpe University, completed in 1994.
