Donnalyn Weir

Donnalyn Weir has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Hudson as a Multi-Store Supervisor. In this role, they supervised multiple store locations. In 2019, they joined Nidec Motor Corporation as an Application Engineer, specializing in HVAC/R Motors. Donnalyn designed electric motors for HVAC applications and managed multiple engineering projects simultaneously. Donnalyn collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. At Nidec, they also worked as an Electrical Engineering Coop, where they coordinated with different engineering groups, programmed and troubleshooted electrical problems, and streamlined the test lab equipment process. Donnalyn then moved on to John Beal Roofing in 2023, taking on the role of Director of Business Development. Currently, they are working at POWER Engineers as a Substation Design Electrical Engineer, a position they started in August 2023.

Donnalyn Weir completed a Bachelor's degree in the Joint Engineering Program- Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science - BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 2017 to 2020.
