Rakesh Sutar

Rakesh Sutar is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the automotive and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager at John Deere since October 2017, Rakesh specializes in Global sourcing for the Hydraulics Commodity and leads Engineering Change Management activities, with expertise in VAVE Analysis and Localisation. Prior to this role, Rakesh held the position of Section Manager for Supply Chain Management at John Deere and served as Senior Manager at Tata Motors from August 2011 to September 2017, focusing on engine and transaxle commodities and various powertrain components. Rakesh's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Engineer at Bosch Chassis Systems India, where project development for notable vehicles such as Toyota Etios and Mahindra XUV was undertaken. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Production from D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from D Y Patil Polytechnic.
