Charlotte Miller

Charlotte Miller is a postdoctoral scientist at the John Innes Centre since September 2009, currently investigating the genetic control of yield traits in Brassica napus under the supervision of Mike Bevan. Charlotte completed a PhD in the same institution in the lab of Ian Bancroft, concentrating on the genetic control of stem mechanical properties in Brassica napus and wheat. Prior to the PhD, Charlotte earned an MSc with Distinction by researching Arabidopsis mutants with altered temperature perception in the laboratory of Phil Wigge. Charlotte's academic journey began at Canterbury Christ Church University, where Charlotte achieved First Class Honours as an undergraduate student in Bioscience from September 2005 to September 2008.
