Samuel B. began their career in 2014 as an Amusement Arcade Assistant at CURIOUS PIER LIMITED, where they worked until 2017. In 2018 and 2019, they worked as a Phenotype Assistant at John Innes Centre. In 2020, they held the role of Breeding Assistant Intern at Cygnet Potato Breeders Ltd, before moving on to KWS Group, where they worked as a Barley Breeding Technician and later as an Assistant Barley Breeder. Most recently, in 2022, Samuel joined the John Innes Centre as a Research Assistant.
Samuel B. completed their Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southampton, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Samuel pursued a Master's degree in Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement at the University of East Anglia from 2019 to 2020. In May 2020, they also obtained certification in Counter Balance Sitdown Rider Forklift Operator Safety Training from Lantra.
