Monty D. Smith

Monty D. Smith joined John L. Scott Real Estate in 2020 as the company’s Company Growth Officer, bringing more than 25 years of diverse real estate experience, both from a regional and national level, to the position. Before joining John L. Scott, Monty spent nearly 18 years with the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage company NRT LLC, a Realogy Company. He progressively advanced at NRT LLC, most recently serving as the company’s President of Company Generated Business.

As Company Growth Officer, Monty is responsible for leading the sales divisions of the organization including regional sales offices, franchise sales, relocation and e-business. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Florida, and also completed the human capital management master’s degree program from Columbia University in 2021.
